TIMESMALAYSIA, SURABAYA – As their concern to the increasing number of vascular patients in Indonesia, Vaskular Indonesia created an app which will ease the patients to find out their symptoms and the first aid for the vascular disease.

For these reasons, the Vaskular Indonesia holds and announced the finalists of Putri Indonesia 2020 as their Medical Tourism Ambassador on Saturday (1/2/2020).

"This app was created to make the patients and the doctors be more closer. Most of Indonesian likely to go to foreign country for their vascular disease to look for some help since they don't know where to go in their own country," dr. Niko Azhari Hidayat, Sp.BTKV, a cardiothoracic surgeon said.

Vaskular Indonesia's base is at the Airlangga University hospital Surabaya. Since the app firstly introduced to the public, the clinic has taken several patients from around the country.

The digital app made the patient easily reach for the doctors. They could also visit the doctor by themselves if they need further treatment or surgery.

For now, Vaskular Indonesia only has one clinic in Surabaya. But, they planned to expand their clinic to another area in Indonesia to increase the number of medical tourism visit to the country. (*)
