These Foods Trigger Aging
TIMESMALAYSIA, JAKARTA – There are several factors that could make you age faster such as smoking, consuming alcohol, genetics, sun exposure and many more. But have you ever consider that the food you consume could lead to an aging?
Taken from Dokter Sehat, here are several food that could lead to a faster aging.
1. Sugary foods or something sweet
Cake with lots of icing, biscuits, candies and dozens of foods contain millions sugar in it could lead you to a faster aging. The sugar molecules met with protein will produce certain protein that could make your skin wrinkled in no time.
2. Charred meats
A researcher explained that overcooked beef or any other meat to a 'blackened' status is very inflammatory to the body. The inflammation may actually break down collagen levels in the skin, leading to an aged appearance.
3. Trans Fat
Those food like fried chicken in fastfood restaurant will also lead to a faster aging. Trans fat will even make you more susceptible to UV damage to your skin.
4. Food that contains more salt in it
Foods that are high in sodium cause you to retain water and feel bloated. The water retention can make the skin look puffy and tired.
5. Alcohol and Energy Drink
Taking alcohol and energy drink as your regular water will lead you to have a 60 years old look in a 40 years old body. These drink will affect your liver and make it hard to work. This will make your body contain much poison that cannot be extracted by the liver.
All these food and beverages will lead you to a faster aging. To avoid tge aging try to have a healthy food and drink at least 8 glasses of water in a day. (*)
