TIMESMALAYSIA, JAKARTA – Black tea is one of the most popular kinds of tea. It has a stronger taste and contains more caffeine compared to other types of tea. Black tea has many health benefits as it contains antioxidant.

Here are several health benefits of black tea.

1. Improve your focus

Black tea contains caffeine and amino acid (L-theanine) that could improve your focus and alertness. L-theanine could improve the alpha activity in the brain that could result in better relaxation and focus. Therefore, black tea becomes the best choice to improve your focus and energy.

2. Maintain gut health

Polyphenol found in black tea could help us maintain gut health and improve the growth of good bacteria and prevent the growth of the bad bacteria.

Besides, black tea also contains anti-microbe substance that could fight any dangerous substance, as well as improve the immune system by strengthening the lining of digestive tract.
