TIMESMALAYSIA, JAKARTA – On his trip to Mecca the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo got a honorable guests from the Minister of Energy, Industry, and Mineral Resources Saudi Arabia Khalid Al Falih and crew at the Royal Guest House Riyadh on April 14, 2019 to discuss about the energy cooperation between two country.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi who were also in the room during the meeting said that Saudi Arabia appreciate all the economical reformation efforts that conducted by the Indonesian government.

"Lots of things were discussed, and some of them are the cooperation between Aramco and Pertamina for the Cilacap oil refinery, and the next state visit from Saudi Arabia for further discussion about the cooperation in the energy sector related to oil refineries and the petrochemical industry" she said.

In addition, Mrs. Mrsudi also said that there was one issue that was also discussed, which was related to the issue of asset valuation. And the President advise was that the matter must be resolved immediately.

Beside President Joko Widodo and Retno Marsudi, there were also Moeldoko as the presidential staff and Agus Maftuh Abegebriel as the Indonesian Ambassador for Saudi Arabia attending the meeting. (*)
